Saloon ForwardSaloon - Aft of the Galley and up the wide, two-step companionway is the roomy mid-ship, full beam main Saloon. With generous 6' 4" headroom the 10' x 12' Saloon is perfect for casual or formal entertaining, with rich-textured carpeting, finished  Mahogany paneling, and large picture windows. The salon can easily accommodates full size furniture with room to spare.

Along the port and starboard sides are large, oversize, full-length tinted safety glass windows. The full-length windows fill the Saloon with a generous amount of natural light.  Across the aft wall on the port side is a full size mirror.

The Saloon is fitted with the original art deco era
Castro's Convertible Danish modern style rectangular Coffee Table / Dining Table. It is spring loaded, all mechanical and very easy to use. In the down position it is a coffee table; in the up position it opens to a square dining table big enough to easily accommodate 8 people for dinner.

Orientation:
Facing forward toward the bow from the starboard side. Through the center hatchway and down two steps is the dinette on the port side and the galley on the starboard side.   The galley, dinette and forward cabin may be closed off from the rest of the vessel by a door and sliding hatch.

Saloon aftSaloon - Constructed with custom cut mahogany the expansive saloon has a quiet classic welcoming look and feel with the ambience of an English gentleman's club. It is beautifully varnished and presents a rich warm glow.  The Saloon is large enough for entertaining guests or just stretching out and relaxing.

The original Castro Convertible pull-out sofa bed with twin size mattress provides additional sleeping comfort if needed.

The cabin temperature is maintained by Cruisair
reverse cycle air condition system which can cool or heat. The temperature is well maintained by the digital display key pad.
 

Orientation: Facing Aft. Through the hatchway and down three steps is the Aft Guest Compartment and the Owner's Stateroom.  Up the three companionway steps leads to the wheelhouse and aft deck.
