The day began with a continental breakfast for the registered boats. The classic Boat Festival carried on into the second day, Sunday. The attendance at the seaport was again strong with a great many people looking at and boarding the boats.  In the early afternoon after the closing ceremonies many of the boaters were getting underway and heading home. A few of the boats, including Independence stayed over until Monday morning and then got underway.
